Built in pink stone, more than two centuries ago, by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the Capital is a testimony to the skill of master craftsmen. Samode Haveli was built by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime Minister in the Jaipur court, who belonged to the family of Samode.

Samode Haveli was built by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime Minister in the Jaipur court, who belonged to the family of Samode – a lineage dating back more than four centuries to the illustrious Prithviraj Singhji of Amber, seventeenth Prince of the house of Kacchawaha Rajputs.

The Samode Bagh Palace is one of the most elegant heritage structure in Rajasthan. Built by one of the sons of Prithviraj Singhji of Amber, the palace is designed like the Mughal gardens. Samode palace was used by the Samode Royals to enjoy some of their private moments due to the ultimate tranquility of the place. Located at about 4 km from the palace, Samode Bagh is one of the most exotic garden haven that is encompassed by 20 acres of lush and lovely grounds. A 15 foot wall encircles the garden which is about 3 blocks long. Tourists from all across the globe come to experience their stay in the Tented camps offered by Samode Bagh. The Dunes colored tents amidst the beautiful garden creates an outstanding romantic atmosphere that will give you a memorable experience. The garden is ornamented with 200 feet long row of fountains that are fed with natural springs and wells. You will witness a magnificent blend of the Rajasthani culture and Victorian style in the unique settings of the Tented camps that are given an ancient look of the erstwhile 16th century. Samode Bagh is conveniently located in Samode with almost 4 km from the Samode Palace, 56 km from Jaipur airport and 40 km from the railway station of Jaipur.

A Typical Wedding Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival
Traditional / ceremonial welcome with aarti and folk performers. An activity brochure details activities for the wedding ahead.

Evening
A theme party based on the location, with traditional cuisine and entertainment, followed by a dance party with a DJ in attendance.
 
Day 2 – The wedding day

Lunch

Sight seeing at the local venues which could be game sanctuary, temples, museums, churches, followed by Lunch with the cuisine of your choice

Evening : Wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony will be of your choice as per the rites you would like to follow. A typical wedding would have the following sequence of events:

•  Assembly of procession and royal / traditional march to the wedding venue
•  Traditional welcome of procession
•  Wedding as per your rites – Hindu, Christian or Muslim
•  Cake cutting, toasts
•  Fireworks, traditional entertainment
•  Formal sit down dinner
•  Dance with live band / DJ

This normally would be a day at leisure with options of sight seeing, shopping, special lunches etc
