trousseau are packed during weddings and festivals
like Diwali. All the sweat and toil of selecting
the best of gifts and trousseau may go unnoticed
if they are not packed and displayed properly.
A bride may have the most fabulous designer
trousseau, or the most eclectic jewellery
customised especially for her - it may prove
futile if they are not beautifully packed
and artistically presented.
Earlier, floral designs like a lily on top
of the pack or tissue flowers on baskets were
popular. Today, elaborate presentations have
taken over that. Golden thaals made of hardboard
with edges fringed with sequins, stone studded
boxes, Mirror platters with bead work, embroidered
saree bags and boxes, shagun envelopes to
fruit baskets as per the theme, can all be
