When
i decided to have my son's wedding
in Lucknow my main concern was being
so far away, and trying to arrange
a wedding in an unknown place. I did
not want to overload my family in
Lucknow, and I also felt that my ideas
and what I wanted could not really
be achieved by family members. Much
against the wishes of my family members
in India, I decided to take a chance
and went ahead with hiring Nity.
I made a very good decision.
I communicated with Nity by e-mail
everyday for over three months. She
was very responsive, and got back
to me right away. Sometimes, I tried
to push some ideas from my side, and
she would tell me what was possible,
and also what would not work. By the
time I reached India, I had 90% of
the details worked out. I was very
apprehensive, as I had no history
or references on her. The most important
thing I think, is setting a budget,
and then seeing what she could do
for you within the budget. You get
what you pay for, and any wedding
planned will only provide what your
budget allows. Also, clear and concise
directions need to be given.
Nity arranged for our Tilak Ceremony,
then three other pre-wedding functions,
as well as our wedding reception which
took place at the Taj. We had already
booked the venues on our own, so she
was in charge of the decorations for
each place. Each event had fresh new
ideas, and each event was different.
She also did all or gift wrapping,
guest management, and found us a place
to live in Lucknow for the full month.
My husband is a very cautious person,
but even he was happy with everything
and how things were managed. My family
was annoyed that things went so well,
but in the end they agreed that they
could not have managed a better wedding,
and in the end we all looked good
as a family.
Nity and myself have become good friends
and have a great understanding. She
is currently helping me by purchasing
and shipping gifts for my son's USA
reception which is on September 16th.
I priced the same item in Delhi and
Mumbai, and she was able to save me
almost 30%.
I will highly recommend Nity to anyone. |
